Power in Oshakati

When we arrived in Oshakati last night after our camping trip all of the "robots" were not working. This was quite puzzling for everyone, especially considering the people of Oshakati are some of the worst drivers I have ever seen. (Oh, right "robots" are stoplights.) So, after a few near misses with cars who refused to stop ("It wasn't red, officer!!"), we made it back to the Guest House, where the power there was not working either. After our long hot weekend, all we wanted was a bit of air con!!!! Alas, we were forced to continue to "camp" in our room, candles, headlamps and all. At least the water was still working and we were able to take showers. Something weird is going on with the power in Oshakati. Again today the power was out for several hours! So, if you don't hear from us for a few days, it's because we don't have power. Or air con. It's sooo hot!
